John D'Urso, President, Long Island Federation of Labor, introduced CT to a crowd of over 5,000 Union leaders and members at the Labor Picnic as the "Dean of Labor."

The latest Siena poll has Senator Caesar Trunzo leading his well-financed opponent by 6%. The State Democrats are funding Brian Foley’s campaign in hopes of upsetting the Senator and perhaps take control of the Senate. Thankfully, a majority of voters in Senator Trunzo’s district are aware of the dangers of allowing the Democrats to control all three branches of government in New York State. If the Democrats took over complete control of New York, then New York City leadership would begin diverting our school taxes from the suburbs to their own city school system, forcing us to raise property taxes or drastically cut services. Caesar Trunzo’s reelection will help keep balance in our state government.
